Netflix'd this one over the weekend as well. This was markedly better than
Bloodrayne, but that's not saying much. I'll admit that I never finished the
video game, so I don't know how the story is supposed to go for comparison, but
the story in the film was mediocre, and the ending completely disappointing. I
was also pretty disappointed that the internal parasites looked just like a
normal millipede-type insect. I don't know if that was supposed to make them
'more scary' cause you've seen them in the wild, or if it was a lack of
imagination, but I had a hard time reconciling them w/ the bigger beasties.
Mediocre all around.
