I finished this book a few days ago. It's the first in what I hope to be a
continuing series. It's about a girl, Cassandra, who can see the future and
talk w/ spirits. There's also the usual mix of vamires and other undead, but
fortunately, they are more "costars" in the story. The author makes some pretty
creative use of the old legends of the Oracle @ Delphi and some other Greek and
Roman legends as well and does so in a fairly convincing manner (assuming you
are in the whole 'suspension of disbelief' and are willing to accept that the
undead exist and there are those who can 'see'). I'm really looking forward to
see how the author handles the sequel as I can see a lot of potential with the
story line. If you're into this type of book, I recommend this one.
