I read this book on the way out to the office. It's the 2
nd in the series ('Moon Called' being the first). While I loved Moon Called, I found this one to be a mere 'ok'. Not bad, by any means. Just not as good as the first. I'mhoping the 3
rd book will take up w/ the whole 'vampires dont like shifters' and provide some insight into that whole backstory, which should prove to be very interesting (especially if she starts coming into her powers). This book pretty much focused around demon posession which, while not out of place in this series, was really not needed. Why is it that authors insist on bringing the whole 'magical' universe into their books. We could get along just fine w/ just vampires and weres..
In any case, if you like these kinds of books, and have read the first one, you'll like this one. Just don't expect this one to exceed the first.
