Stephanie called yesterday. She's on a trip with
People to People abroad. Specifically, she's heading to
England,
Ireland, and
Wales. She flew out of
CMH Sunday morning, and landed in
London (via
ORD) around 6am local time. They visited
Hampton Court Palace (much of which was designed by renowned architect
Sir Christopher Wren in the 1690s) and which was the beautiful and historic home of
King Henry VIII. It's nestled in a bend in the
River Thames and is a blend of
Tudor and
English Baroque architecture. They also walked through the
Anne Boleyn Gateway and explored the palace's living maze in the palace gardens. She was thoroughly wiped out when she called, but was loving every minute of it.
