Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

Believe it or not, this was Tina's purchase. I've personally never really seen the appeal to the Guitar Hero series. The kids play it at their father's house, and Frye's had one setup when we were there on vacation and played it while Tina watched. I'm not sure what that sparked in her, but we were at Target looking for something else and she saw that they had GHIII for the Wii and she was all like 'can we get this? I want to get this? I'm getting this.'

So, I got it. And I'm not too bad at it actually :)

Tina is playing it pretty frequently and doing rather well in my opinion. She's constantly getting frustrated and saying that she's never playing it again, but that doesn't last long. She's actually passed me recently and moved into the 2nd difficulty level (I've been giving love to other games for now).

We ended up playing this game so much that I bought a second guitar and then bought two new wiimote controllers so we could just leave them in the guitar and not insert/remove them all the time. I've also already pre-ordered the upcoming GHIII:Aerosmith game.

I have to admit that for a simple timing game, it's really fun and addicting. Totally doesn't hurt that the music rocks either.
